Our story
Palette Tea Garden 彩苑, created by the team behind Koi Palace 鯉魚門, Dragon Beaux 俏龍軒, and Palette Tea House 彩籠, brings a modern twist to dim sum, seafood, Cantonese roast meats, and traditional Chinese cuisine.
Located in Hillsdale Mall, San Mateo, this 8,000+ square-foot restaurant offers unique dishes like Iberico Cha Siu Pork from Spain and Roasted Peking Duck, while maintaining an authentic dim sum experience. Enjoy a full bar, takeout options, and a spacious outdoor patio. Founded by the Ng family, who brought the “yum cha” tradition from Hong Kong to San Francisco in 1996, we continue our journey to share the authentic Chinese culinary traditions.
